Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Spin/Barre Instructor to lead dynamic group fitness classes that inspire and challenge participants. In this role, you will deliver engaging, safe, and effective spin cycling and barre workout sessions, fostering a motivating environment that encourages clients to achieve their fitness goals. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fitness, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in various exercise disciplines. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on members' health and wellness journeys while demonstrating your expertise in group fitness instruction. Duties Lead high-energy spin cycling classes that emphasize proper technique, safety, and motivation Deliver precise and inspiring barre workouts focusing on strength, flexibility, and posture alignment Demonstrate exercise routines clearly, providing modifications to accommodate all fitness levels Ensure participant safety through proper manual handling techniques and biomechanical awareness Design varied class programs that incorporate elements of Pilates, yoga, CrossFit, and other fitness disciplines Maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere to encourage client engagement and retention Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their progress and fitness goals Skills Proven experience in group fitness instruction, including spin cycling, barre, Pilates, yoga or similar disciplines Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and biomechanics relevant to exercise routines Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation required; first aid certification preferred Ability to demonstrate exercises accurately while ensuring client safety during heavy lifting or high-intensity movements Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants Familiarity with program design tailored to different fitness levels and client needs Experience in fitness sales or client engagement strategies is a plus for promoting classes and memberships Join our team as a Spin/Barre Instructor and become part of a vibrant community dedicated to empowering individuals through innovative fitness experiences.
