For over 40 years, My Gym Children's Fitness Center has set the industry standard in the field of children's fitness and physical activity. My Gym Valencia is currently hiring a children's fitness/early education instructor. This is not your typical desk job Our instructors lead high-energy classes filled with music, movement, obstacle courses, games, gymnastics, and imaginative play for children 4 months - 10 years old. At My Gym, no two classes are the same. One minute you may be leading a parent & me class with songs and dances, the next you're spotting a child on gymnastics equipment, cleaning and resetting the gym, speaking with parents, or assisting families at the front desk. Our instructors work as a team to create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for every child who walks through our doors. The job is fast-paced and active, so we're looking for someone who can think quickly, multitask, and bring positive energy even during busy moments. By the end of training, you'll learn how to teach classes, provide excellent customer service, support day-to-day operations, and confidently communicate the value of our programs to families. The strongest candidates typically have backgrounds in gymnastics, dance, sports, martial arts, cheer, theater, fitness, creative or other physical activities. Experience working with children is highly preferred. We're looking for someone who is outgoing and ready to jump in with enthusiasm every single day.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. A genuine love for working with children and helping them succeed A coachable attitude: There are no egos at My Gym! We are a team!

Ambition:

Must be available to work evenings & weekends Ability to work 25+ hours per week, including weekends Highly energetic, confident and comfortable being silly Exceptional communication skills & team oriented Background in fitness/arts (athletics, sports, visual/performing arts, dance, cheer, gymnastics or related field) Clean background check What's in it for you?
