Toddler Movement & Preschool Fitness InstructorJob Overview HYO Martial Arts is looking for an energetic, creative, reliable, and caring instructor to help build and grow a brand-new toddler and preschool movement program at our Temecula location. Our academy is located at Vail Headquarters, where many families with young children visit throughout the mornings and afternoons. There are already many toddlers and young children in the area, and we believe this program has strong potential to grow quickly with the right classes and instructor. We are not simply hiring an employee — we are looking for someone who wants to help create, grow, and build this program together from the beginning. This position will begin with Tuesday classes around 12 PM (1-2 class sessions initially), and the program WILL expand into additional daytime weekday classes as enrollment grows. Responsibilities Lead fun, engaging, and structured movement classes for toddlers and preschool-aged children Create a safe, positive, and encouraging class environment Develop age-appropriate activities focused on movement, coordination, balance, listening skills, and confidence Incorporate music, games, obstacle courses, beginner fitness, and creative movement activities Communicate positively with parents and families Help contribute ideas for growing and improving the program Qualifications Experience working with toddlers, preschool-aged children, or early childhood programs preferred Background in gymnastics, dance, kids fitness, preschool education, sports instruction, or martial arts is a plus Bright, positive, dependable, and hardworking personality Strong communication and classroom leadership skills Passion for helping young children grow through movement and play Compensation $20•30 per hour based on experience Performance-based incentives available as the program and enrollment grow Opportunity to grow together with a brand-new program from the ground up Schedule Part-time Tuesday daytime classes to start Preferred availability between 9 AM•3 PM Program expected to expand into additional weekday classes About Us HYO Martial Arts is a growing martial arts academy located in the heart of Vail Headquarters in Temecula.
