Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and passionate Personal Trainer to join our dynamic team. As a Personal Trainer, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients towards achieving their fitness goals through personalized training programs and expert advice. You will utilize your knowledge of body mechanics, physiology and anatomy to develop effective workout plans tailored to individual needs. Your ability to inspire and motivate clients will be key in fostering a positive fitness environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety.
- Assess clients' fitness levels and create customized training programs based on their goals.
- Provide guidance on exercise selection, body mechanics, and proper form.
- Monitor client progress and adjust programs as necessary to ensure continued improvement.
- Educate clients on the principles of nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Lead group fitness classes when needed, promoting a sense of community among participants.
- Maintain a clean and organized training environment within the gym.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and best practices in personal training.
- Promote personal training services to potential clients through effective sales techniques. Requirements
- Certification in personal training from a nationally recognized organization is required. NASM, CET, ACE, AFFA, ISSA or degree in related field.
- Sales experience preferred.
- Nutritional background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of body mechanics, physiology, and anatomy.
- Experience in program design tailored to individual client needs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for fitness and helping others achieve their health goals.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$34.00- $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 25
