Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and motivating Yoga Instructor to lead group classes that are safe, inclusive, and engaging. The ideal candidate is experienced in a variety of yoga styles and can adapt classes to meet the needs of both beginners and experienced practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality yoga classes tailored to various levels and styles (e.g., Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, etc.) Guide students through safe and effective sequences, offering modifications and adjustments as needed Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all participants Provide brief mindfulness or meditation components as appropriate Ensure studio cleanliness and readiness before and after class Participate in occasional workshops, events, or community classes Maintain certifications and stay current on yoga trends and safety practices
Qualifications:
Certified Yoga Instructor (200-hour minimum from a Yoga Alliance-recognized program) CPR/AED certified (or willing to obtain) 1+ years of teaching experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of students Passion for wellness, community, and personal growth
