Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

We're now open and seeking motivated, professional coaches to help us lead our clients—mostly in their 40s, 50s, and 60s+ —through customized strength, mobility, and metabolic focused programs. Job Overview We're hiring personal trainers and coaches to deliver high-quality, individualized private and semi-private training. You'll work with a committed adult population that values consistency, education, and long-term health. This role is ideal for someone with high emotional intelligence, technical proficiency, and a deep respect for the coaching craft. This is a team-based coaching role—there is no sales requirement, and you won't be responsible for building your own book of business. Clients are shared across the training staff to ensure consistent, expert guidance, regardless of who is on the floor. Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective, and personalized training sessions in both private and semi-private formats Coach clients through structured strength, mobility, aerobic, and recovery protocols tailored to their goals Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients and collaborate seamlessly with fellow coaches Accurately track session outcomes, update client progress notes, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism Engage in ongoing education and team development to refine your craft and stay current with best practices Partner with on-site physical therapists and nutrition professionals to provide integrated, client-centered care Requirements Personal Training Certification CPR/AED certification (or obtain within 90 days) 1+ years of coaching experience preferred Organized, punctual, and able to manage time effectively Strong communication, time management, with high emotional intelligence skills A professional, positive, and coachable attitude Passion for working with adults over 40 in a structured, sustainable training setting Must thrive in a team-based environment—this is a collaborative coaching model, not an independent book-of-business structure Reliable transportation to our Newtown, CT location
