OVERVIEW
The job is responsible for:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct fitness assessments to determine individual member goals, limitations, and health considerations. Design and implement personalized training programs tailored to member's fitness levels, needs, and goals. Provide one-on-one personal training sessions, small group training, and guidance during workouts. Educate members on proper exercise form, technique, and equipment use. Monitor and adjust programs as needed to ensure continued progress and safety. Offer advice on nutrition, lifestyle changes, and overall wellness to support member's fitness journeys. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the fitness facility. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and certifications to provide innovative training methods. Build and maintain positive relationships with members, promoting ongoing engagement in fitness programs. Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for fitness. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend and holidays as needed.

Reports potentially unsafe conditions. Uses equipment and materials properly. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and
TRAINING
[Bachelor's Degree in exercise science preferred] and/or at least 3 years of experience. Proven experience as a personal trainer, with a track record of helping clients achieve their fitness goals. Strong understanding of anatomy, exercise physiology, and nutrition principles. Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with diverse age groups and fitness levels, including seniors. Experience working in a private club or luxury fitness facility. Specialized certifications (e.g., TRX, TPI, FRC) are a plus. Familiarity with rehabilitation exercises and post-injury fitness programs.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through an accredited organization (e.g., NASM, ACSM, NSCA). Current CPR/AED certification.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic computer skills Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
