Your role is vital in creating a welcoming environment that inspires members to achieve their health and fitness goals. You will design and lead diverse classes, ensuring safety, proper technique, and an enjoyable experience for all participants. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your passion for fitness while fostering community and wellness. Responsibilities Lead group fitness classes across various disciplines such as body mechanics, cycling, yoga, Pilates, dance, CrossFit, and sports coaching to cater to diverse member interests and skill levels. Develop innovative class programs that incorporate physiology principles, anatomy knowledge, and program design to maximize effectiveness and engagement. Ensure all participants perform exercises with proper form and technique by providing clear instructions and modifications as needed. Maintain a safe environment by monitoring class dynamics, enforcing gym safety protocols, and responding promptly to any injuries or emergencies. Promote a positive atmosphere that encourages motivation, participation, and camaraderie among members. Stay current with fitness trends and certifications to continually enhance your teaching skills and class offerings. Support the health club's sales efforts by engaging with members about personal training options or upcoming classes to foster ongoing participation. Skills Proven experience in group fitness instruction with expertise in disciplines such as Kickboxing, Yoga, Pilates, Cycling, or CrossFit. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise science to ensure safe and effective training sessions. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants of all ages and fitness levels. Ability to design comprehensive programs tailored to individual needs while maintaining class flow and energy. Familiarity with gym equipment and facility operations within a health club environment. Effective communication skills for clear instruction and member engagement. Passion for health, wellness, sports coaching, dancing, or personal training that inspires others to reach their goals.
