Reginald Operation Manager Position Summary The CrossFit Style /HYROX Instructor is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and engaging group classes while fostering a positive and motivating training environment. This role focuses on coaching proper movement mechanics, improving member performance, ensuring member safety, and building a strong community within RAW Athletic Club. The Instructor serves as a leader who motivates members to achieve their fitness goals while upholding the Company's mission, values, and standards of excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead high-energy CrossFit Style/HYROX Instructor group classes for members of varying fitness levels. Demonstrate and coach proper movement mechanics for Olympic lifting, powerlifting, gymnastics, metabolic conditioning, and functional fitness exercises. Modify workouts appropriately for beginners, injured participants, or members with physical limitations. Provide individualized coaching during classes to ensure proper form and injury prevention. Develop a welcoming, motivating, and inclusive class environment that encourages member engagement and retention. Build strong relationships with members and promote a positive gym culture. Maintain accurate attendance records and class participation. Arrive prepared for each class with workout plans, equipment setup, and coaching objectives. Ensure all equipment is clean, organized, and safely maintained before and after each class. Enforce gym safety standards and emergency procedures. Educate members on proper warm-ups, mobility, recovery techniques, and injury prevention. Encourage member accountability and help members track progress toward fitness goals. Promote club programs, challenges, specialty classes, nutrition services, and personal training opportunities. Assist with onboarding new members and introductory CrossFit style/HYROX sessions. Participate in club events, competitions, community workouts, and promotional activities. Maintain current certifications and continuing education requirements. Attend required staff meetings, educational workshops, and company training. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification required. Minimum one (1) year of CrossFit Style /HYROX coaching experience preferred. Strong knowledge of Olympic lifting, powerlifting, gymnastics movements, mobility, and functional fitness programming. Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills. Ability to coach individuals with varying levels of fitness experience. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Reliable, punctual, and team oriented. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, coach, and demonstrate exercises for extended periods. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift equipment exceeding 75 pounds with assistance. Demonstrate advanced functional fitness movements safely. Work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment. Work Environment Indoor fitness facility. Exposure to loud music, active workouts, and varying temperatures. Morning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.
