Job Description
Gym 1801 is a boutique fitness studio in Evanston, IL offering group fitness, yoga, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, personal training, and a full recovery suite. We are hiring certified Group Fitness, Yoga, and Pilates instructors to join our growing team. We provide a venue for our members to find greatness within themselves
- and we are looking for instructors who bring energy, structure, and genuine connection to every class they teach.
WHAT YOU WILL TEACH
- Group Fitness (Functional Strength, Boxing, HIIT, or similar formats)
- Yoga (Vinyasa, Heated Yoga, Hatha, or similar)
- Pilates (Mat or Reformer)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Current, nationally recognized certification in your format(s)
- Experience teaching group classes (1+ years preferred)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with members of all levels
- Reliability and professionalism
- this is a studio that runs on trust
- Availability that includes early mornings and/or weekends
WHAT YOU WILL GET
- $50•100 per class based on format, experience, and class size•A supportive, growth-focused team environment•Access to our recovery suite (sauna, cryotherapy, red light therapy)•The opportunity to build a real following and class community•not just sub in and out•Room to grow into additional formats or personal training as our programming expands
