Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a dynamic Certified Personal Trainer to assist in the launching of our Personal Training Program at Valley Rec. In this energetic role, you will design customized training programs, motivate individuals, and promote a positive, results-driven environment. Your expertise in physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics will empower clients to improve their strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Essential Job Functions:
Develop personalized fitness programs tailored to each client's goals, fitness level, and medical background. Conduct one-on-one training sessions with enthusiasm and professionalism. Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and injury prevention strategies. Monitor client progress regularly and adjust training plans to optimize results. Promote Valley Rec memberships and programs. Maintain a safe workout environment by ensuring proper equipment use and adherence to safety protocols. Stay current with the latest advancements in physiology and fitness science to enhance training effectiveness.
Essential Job Requirements:
Certification from a recognized personal training organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM). Proven experience in personal training within a gym or health club setting. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics essential for designing effective programs. Demonstrated ability to sell fitness services confidently while maintaining excellent member relationships. Familiarity with gym equipment operation and safety standards required for delivering quality training sessions. Passion for helping others achieve their health goals through motivating coaching and expert guidance.
