ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Personal Trainer at Sol Fitness, you'll design and deliver training experiences for a diverse range of clients. You'll work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to a culture built on movement, education, and community.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Training and Programming Design, deliver, and adjust personalized training programs for 1:1, semi-private, and small group clients Conduct intake assessments and set measurable, collaborative goals Progress and regress programming based on client performance, feedback, and injury history Maintain detailed client session notes and records Submit bi-monthly Client Progress Reports Client Growth and Retention Proactively build your client book through relationship-building, referrals, and consistent follow-up Rebook clients consistently and track where new clients come from Develop your own pipeline over time through personal outreach, social media, and community presence Professionalism and Operations Arrive on time and prepared for every session and shift Manage your schedule accurately in our scheduling software Participate in team meetings, one-on-ones, trainings, and Sol community events Adhere to Sol's code of conduct, safety standards, dress code, and inclusive culture standards Community and Brand Attend Sol events, workshops, and educational programming as an active community member Engage in Sol's private online communities and celebrate client and teammate wins Represent Sol at local events, health fairs, pop-ups, and community initiatives Maintain an authentic social media presence that reflects Sol's values and your training philosophy
QUALIFICATIONS
Current, nationally accredited CPT certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent) OR active enrollment in a CPT program with an expected completion date Current CPR/AED certification (must remain active throughout employment) Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage schedule, client records, and programming independently Comfortable working with diverse clients across all fitness levels and backgrounds Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends Basic comfort with scheduling and CRM software Genuine passion for fitness, learning, and community involvement
NOT CERTIFIED YET?
Through Sol Academy, our in-house education arm, we offer a NASM-aligned Personal Trainer Certification program. Candidates actively pursuing their CPT are encouraged to apply and note where they are in the process.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout sessions Ability to demonstrate exercises including squatting, lunging, bending, reaching, and dynamic movements Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift equipment up to 50 lbs
Pay:
$12.00 - $120.00 per hour
