Job Description:
Are you a high-energy coach who thrives in a team environment? Franco's Athletic Club is looking for a dynamic Small Group Fitness Coach to lead our sports-based, functional training program for adults. This program is specifically geared toward helping our clients look, move, and feel better, combining the energy of group fitness with the customization and accountability of personal training. If you are passionate about functional movement, athletic progression, and holding clients accountable to achieving real results, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
Coaching (up to 30 hours per week)
Lead & Energize:
Coach small groups of clients through safe, effective, sports-based functional workouts.
Program Execution:
Deliver our specialized training program with high energy, ensuring proper form and technique for all fitness levels.
Adaptability:
Master our progression and regression exercise protocols to seamlessly scale workouts for individual clients within the group setting.
Session Targets:
Coach up to 25 pre-scheduled small group sessions per week.
Safety & Maintenance:
Keep the designated functional training area clean, organized, and safe. Administration & Accountability (10 hours per week)
Client Management:
Manage small group client rosters, attendance, and usage reports.
Accountability Tracking:
Proactively contact clients who miss sessions to keep them on track toward their goals.
Scheduling:
Coordinate and manage clients' weekly small group training schedules.
Client Connection:
Write personalized thank-you cards to each group member at least twice per year to build community and retention. Leadership & Culture (Full-Time Dedication)

Empower clients to make lasting lifestyle changes and smash their fitness goals.
Atmosphere:
Cultivate a fun, inviting, competitive yet supportive team environment.
Professional Growth:
Attend weekly team meetings, weekly one-on-one meetings with your manager, and monthly fitness departmental meetings.
Requirements:
Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA) Strong background or deep interest in sports-based, functional training and movement patterns. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to command a room and connect with a diverse group of clients. A passion for client accountability and a results-driven mindset.
