Seeking a reliable & competent trainer to work Wednesday afternoons/evenings, Friday afternoons/evenings & Saturday mornings. Must understand the basics of training others. You don't need to do things my way, your way just needs to work too. Big Work Training Studio is looking for a motivated, professional, and passionate Personal Trainer to join our growing team in Maynard, MA. Whether you're newly certified or bringing years of coaching experience, we're looking for someone who's ready to work, committed to delivering results, creating great client experiences, and being part of a supportive and driven community. Our clients range from individuals managing chronic illness or injury recovery to those focused on general fitness, weight loss, or performance goals. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming space for people of all backgrounds, body types, and experience levels. This is a part-time, 1099 independent contractor position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time employee role based on performance, availability, and client demand.

Key Responsibilities:

Coach one-on-one and small group personal training sessions tailored to clients' individual goals, including weight loss, strength, athletic performance, chronic condition management, and overall health. Design and adjust custom training programs based on fitness levels, needs, and limitations. Instruct clients on proper form, technique, and use of equipment with an emphasis on safety and performance. Provide support and accountability in both fitness and basic nutrition habits. Track client progress and maintain detailed session notes. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture that keeps clients motivated and engaged. Stay up to date on industry trends, training methods, and continuing education.

What We're Looking For:

Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from a recognized organization (NSCA, NASM, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, etc.) CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Experience preferred (1+ year), but not required—we welcome newer trainers who are eager to grow and contribute Strong interpersonal and communication skills Dependable, professional, and organized Passionate about health and fitness with a desire to help others succeed Flexible availability - must work Wednesday + Friday evenings, other days as needed Willingness to grow hours as demand increases
