WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Guide Personal Training is in need of a Personal Trainer to join our team. This is an in-person coaching role in a semi-private personal training environment. Our coaches need to be fully committed to having a career in fitness. We prefer 2 years of experience, however, it is not necessary as we can teach you to be a great coach. What we can't teach is to be a great teammate, bring a great attitude to work and to share our enthusiasm for helping our community. Personal Trainers are the lifeblood of our organization, and we're looking for more amazing team members to help us grow! This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow as we do.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH
Coaching and multi-tasking in a small group environment. Giving and receiving feedback. Feedback is essential for growth and sometimes that means having uncomfortable conversations in order for everyone to reach their potential. Putting others first. The members are the stars of the show. We take a back seat to put them on a pedestal. Working with the queer community, willing to learn about proper pronouns, and use of gender-neutral language in your coaching. Coaching clients between the ages of 60-85, and clients with varying injuries, chronic pain or disabilities. Assisting with client administration through technology, including our training app, member management software, email and

Guide provides the clients and the programming, our coaches deliver the training and expertise. No need to find your own clients or spend hours programming. We are an independently run company. ABOUT GUIDE
Our thriving studio trains members exclusively in a semi-private environment, meaning small groups of clients (up to 5 people), each working through their own individualized program. We currently offer 11 training hours per day, Monday through Friday, for our 120+ members.
Other services we offer are:
one-on-one stretch therapy, nutrition coaching, inbody composition scans and movement screens. We are independently and locally owned and operated.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience working with clients in a personal training setting preferred Current certification from a nationally-accredited organization (NASM, ACSM, CrossFit, or equivalent) Current CPR and AED certification Demonstrated ability to coach in a multi-client or group environment preferred Strong communication skills and a professional, positive, client-first attitude Commitment to 1-3 consistent training shifts of 5-6 consecutive hours per week. (Tuesdays 1-7 PM, Thursdays 1-7PM, Saturdays 7-11AM)
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Deliver semi-private training sessions at a high and consistent standard of quality Coach Guide's daily programming to clients Conduct client check-ins, goal-setting conversations, and accountability outreach Maintain accurate client records in our training app, member management software and CRM Help maintain facility cleanliness, equipment, and supply inventory Participate in regular meetings and professional development Support scheduling coverage during staff absences when available
