Job Description
Kore Harmony Pilates and Yoga Instructor Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pilates & Yoga Instructor to join our health and fitness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in group fitness instruction, with expertise in Pilates, Yoga, and related disciplines such as Body Mechanics, Anatomy, Physiology, and Sports Coaching. This role involves designing and leading engaging classes that promote health, flexibility, strength, and overall well-being for diverse client populations. The instructor will contribute to creating a welcoming environment within our health club or gym setting, inspiring clients to achieve their fitness goals through personalized and group sessions. Overview A Pilates and Yoga Instructor leads safe, engaging, and effective movement classes that support clients' physical well-being, mobility, strength, and mindfulness. This role blends technical expertise with motivational coaching to create a positive and inclusive studio environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver Pilates and yoga classes that accommodate various skill levels, physical abilities, and goals. Demonstrate proper form and technique to ensure safety and maximize effectiveness. Provide hands-on or verbal adjustments to support alignment and prevent injury. Develop personalized programs for private clients based on assessments and goals. Educate clients on breathwork, body awareness, and mindful movement principles. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment before and after sessions. Track client progress and offer constructive feedback to encourage growth. Promote classes and studio offerings through client engagement and community-building. Stay current with industry trends through continuing education and certifications. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of anatomy and movement principles Ability to modify exercises for injuries, limitations, or special populations Clear and motivating communication style Demonstrated ability to lead group and private sessions Professionalism and reliability in scheduling and client interactions Calm, supportive presence that fosters trust and confidence Qualifications Certified Pilates Instructor (e.g., Mat, Reformer, Comprehensive) Certified Yoga Teacher (typically 200-hour minimum) CPR/AED certification Experience teaching in studio, gym, or wellness settings Additional Qualifications Experience with specialty formats (e.g., prenatal, restorative, barre) Sales or client retention experience Knowledge of wellness topics such as meditation, mobility, or nutrition
