We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Special Needs Fitness Trainer to lead inclusive exercise programs tailored to diverse abilities. In this role, you will design engaging, safe, and effective fitness routines that promote physical health, confidence, and independence. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire clients to achieve their personal wellness goals while fostering a supportive environment within our health club or gym setting. Duties Develop customized fitness programs that accommodate the unique needs of individuals with various disabilities or special requirements. Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions focused on improving mobility, strength, coordination, and overall well-being. Educate clients on body mechanics, physiology, and anatomy to enhance understanding of their physical health. Incorporate principles of sports coaching and physical education to create motivating and dynamic workouts. Ensure safety by monitoring clients' movements, adjusting exercises as needed, and maintaining proper body mechanics during all activities. Promote a welcoming atmosphere by demonstrating excellent teaching skills and fostering confidence in participants of all abilities. Support sales efforts by introducing new programs, explaining benefits to prospective clients, and maintaining positive relationships with members. Requirements Proven knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics relevant to special needs populations. Experience in program design tailored for individuals with disabilities or mobility challenges. Background in personal training, group fitness instruction, or sports coaching within a health club or gym environment. Strong teaching skills in physical education with the ability to motivate diverse groups effectively. Knowledge of fitness sales techniques and the ability to promote services confidently. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to working with clients requiring specialized attention. Certification in personal training or group fitness is preferred; additional certifications related to adaptive or inclusive fitness are a plus.
