Job Description

Orangetheory Fitness Coach Job Overview As an Orangetheory Fitness Coach, you will deliver scientifically designed workouts that inspire, motivate, and help members achieve results. This position requires strong coaching ability, time management skills, and the confidence to lead multiple clients in a group setting. Successful coaches create a high-energy, welcoming environment while coaching members through endurance, strength, and power-based training. Coaches play a critical role in member retention by building relationships, delivering exceptional experiences, and helping members stay accountable to their goals. This position reports directly to the Head Coach or Studio Sales & Fitness Manager. Our Benefits FREE Premier Orangetheory Fitness Membership for you and a +1 Health & Wellbeing Personal Reimbursement Program Continuing Education Credit (CEC) Reimbursement Paid Time Off Eligibility After One Year Career Growth and Leadership Development Opportunities Collaborative, Positive Team Culture Job Responsibilities Coach 8-15 classes per week Deliver an exciting, high-energy workout experience for up to 24+ members per class Build relationships that drive member engagement, attendance, and retention Actively participate in staff meetings, studio events, and fitness workshops Maintain a clean, safe, and professional studio environment through pre- and post-class cleaning protocols Support Member Advisors with studio tours, introductions, and new member onboarding Review workout templates prior to class to ensure a seamless member experience Provide clear exercise instruction, movement demonstrations, and equipment safety guidance Create an inclusive environment that welcomes members of all fitness levels Job Requirements High energy, self-motivated, and committed to excellence Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to connect effectively with members, coworkers, and the local community High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred Minimum one year of group fitness coaching or personal training experience preferred Current nationally recognized fitness certification (ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, ISSA
CPT, AFAA
GFI, or equivalent) Current CPR/AED Certification Specific job duties and selection requirements may vary by Orangetheory Fitness location. Additional details will be provided throughout the interview process.
Pay:
$25.00 - $65.00 per hour
