Personal Trainer (Temporary Position) 2026

Activity & Recreation Center (ARC) is seeking an energetic, skilled, and motivating personal trainer to join our team. In this role, you will create exercise plans for a wide-range of clients who will rely on you to help them achieve their fitness goals. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must possess a professional certification or be currently in the process of obtaining the certification. Proof of certification completion required. Trainers must have the ability to: evaluate client fitness level and skillset to plan reachable goals; demonstrate and encourage correct warm-up and stretching techniques to avoid injury; lead clients through planned exercise routines; counsel and educate clients on diet, nutrition, and exercise; track client progress and adjust client personalized plans as goals are reached; educate a wide range of clients of all ages based on their fitness capabilities; follow all health and safety regulations and company policies; stand, bend, lift, pull and push objects up to 50+ lbs; communicate and interact effectively and appropriately with participants, co-workers and supervisors. Reliable transportation, excellent communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are required.
