Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Large Group Personal Trainer to inspire and motivate members of various ages through dynamic group fitness sessions. Classes and camps are generally during the evening, possible weekends as well, with 10 to 30+ participants. In this role, you will deliver engaging, effective workout programs tailored to diverse fitness levels, fostering a positive environment that encourages health, wellness, and community. Your expertise in physiology, body mechanics, and program design will help members achieve their fitness goals while enjoying a lively and supportive atmosphere. Duties Lead large group fitness classes that incorporate principles of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to ensure safe and effective workouts. Motivate participants through energetic teaching styles, fostering a fun and inclusive environment that promotes ongoing engagement. Provide personalized guidance on exercise techniques, modifications, injury prevention, and proper form during classes. Maintain a clean, organized workout space and ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly. Qualifications Nationally recognized Personal Training certification (e.g., NASM, ISSA). Proven experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, or teaching physical education within a gym or health club setting. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design principles. Ability to lead large groups with enthusiasm while maintaining safety standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse participants. A passion for health and wellness with a proactive attitude.
