- Lead Tai Chi and/or Kung Fu group classes at various client locations (primarily serving seniors and adults)
- Adapt instruction to accommodate all fitness levels, including clients with chronic conditions or limited mobility
- Foster an inclusive, motivating, and safe environment for all participants
- Set up and break down any provided equipment before and after classes
- Maintain accurate attendance and communicate with management about class needs and feedback
- Uphold professional standards in appearance, behavior, and communication
- Be punctual, reliable, and maintain a positive, energetic attitude
- Promote Strive 2 Fitness programs and encourage ongoing participation
Requirements:
- Certification in Tai Chi, Kung Fu, or a related martial art (required)
- Group fitness instructor certification preferred (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA)
- CPR/AED certified or willing to obtain
- Experience teaching seniors or special populations strongly preferred
- Passion for health, wellness, and community service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation (classes are mobile at various locations)
- Outgoing, energetic, and able to engage groups of all ages and backgrounds.
