Pascagoula, MS Schedule:
Part-time position - Up to 20 hours a week Mon - Fri; must have the ability to work flexible hours, including early morning hours and late afternoon/evening hours.(example: 4:30a-9:00a and/or 3:00p-8:00p) •Contract position through Sirius Staffing at a large Manufacturing site in Pascagoula, MS Sirius Staffing is seeking a motivated and energetic Fitness Specialist to support a fitness center at a local Manufacturing site in Pascagoula. This role will provide wellness center supervision, interact with members and program participants, monitor equipment and participant safety, and support delivery of health and fitness programs and services to the employee population.
Key Responsibilities:
Interact with members and program participants to ensure a safe, positive fitness environmentMonitor equipment usage and participant safetyMay lead and instruct individual and group fitness classes, including freestyle formats and spinningDesign and implement customized fitness programs based on individual needs and job-specific conditioningConduct fitness assessments and wellness consultationsSupport health and fitness initiatives for the employee populationProvide exceptional customer service and ongoing support to members
Qualifications:
Health and Fitness industry certifications are highly preferred Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required0-2 years of related fitness instruction experienceHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology, or related field preferredGroup exercise instruction experiences are strongly preferred Sirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
