About BBT Fitness BBT Fitness is one of Charlotte's fastest-growing community fitness brands — built on coaching, accountability, and high-energy group training experiences. We are expanding our team and looking for high-energy, reliable, and passionate Group Fitness Instructors to lead BBT Conditioning, BBT Weekendz, and specialty classes. Position Overview The Group Fitness Instructor delivers engaging, well-coached, and high-energy workouts for BBT members. You will lead classes, motivate participants, create community connection, and uphold the BBT training experience. This role is ideal for someone who loves movement, thrives in front of a room, and wants to grow as both a coach and a leader. What You'll Do Class Coaching & Programming Lead high-energy group training sessions with passion and clear instruction Deliver safe, effective coaching with proper form correction and modifications Create an engaging, fun, motivating class experience Maintain the structure and flow of BBT's training system Ensure class setup, timing, and transitions run smoothly Member Experience Greet and connect with members before and after class Build community and create a welcoming environment Support members with movement questions, goals, and training guidance Represent BBT Fitness standards, culture, and values Professional Responsibilities Arrive early, prepared, and ready to coach Attend staff training, team meetings, and instructor development sessions Maintain a positive, solution-focused attitude Follow BBT coaching systems, playlists/music guidelines, and class expectations Role Requirements Previous experience in group fitness coaching is a plus (but not required — we train you) Strong energy, communication skills, and confidence leading groups Ability to demonstrate exercises and maintain high class engagement Passion for fitness and helping others succeed Must be reliable, punctual, and coachable CPR/AED certification preferred Weekend availability is a major plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive class-based pay Opportunities for additional paid coaching roles (conditioning, specialty classes, accountability coaching) Free BBT membership Access to professional coaching development Growth pathways in coaching, leadership, and program management A supportive, fun, energetic fitness community What Makes BBT Different BBT Fitness is known for: High-energy, results-driven training experiences A strong sense of community and connection Professional development and internal advancement A culture built on accountability, positivity, and growth Opportunities to expand into higher roles (class manager, coordinator, head coach) If you want to be part of something bigger than just "teaching a class," you'll love it here.
