Job Description

Overview We are seeking passionate and dynamic Group Fitness Instructors to join our team. We have openings in the Aqua program, Spin, and general group ex classes but are specifically looking for additional AQUA instructors at this time. This is a
CONTRACT
position of approximately 1-2 classes per week, with frequent opportunities to pick up additional classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one or more of these fitness disciplines and the ability to motivate and inspire participants in a group setting. This role involves designing and leading engaging fitness classes that cater to diverse skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. Responsibilities Develop and implement innovative group fitness classes that align with solid exercise science and participant needs. Lead classes in the selected format. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure participants understand body mechanics to prevent injuries. Provide modifications for different fitness levels while maintaining an inclusive atmosphere. Monitor participant progress and provide feedback to enhance their fitness journey. Maintain a clean and organized gym environment, ensuring all equipment is safe for use. Promote health club services and programs to encourage member participation and retention. Stay updated on fitness trends, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and program design to enhance class offerings. Demonstrate reliability and responsibility for communicating schedule needs and availability. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics as they relate to fitness training. Experience in teaching group fitness classes with an emphasis on safety and engagement. Proficiency in said fitness modalities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate individuals in a group setting. Background in sports coaching or fitness sales is a plus. Ability to adapt teaching styles to accommodate different learning preferences within the class. Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
