A Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor develops customized exercise and fitness programs for clients. Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

07/30/2024 Description Teach group fitness classes to students, staff, and faculty. Prepare and teach class, and clean after class, as needed.
Salary:
$13.00 per hour.
Working hours:
Assigned classes between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday and 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
Start Date:
August 15, 2024.
Closing Date:
Open until filled. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED, required. Previous experience teaching group fitness classes, certification in group fitness instruction, and CPR/AED certification, preferred. Supplemental Information Official transcripts, including other documentation verifying all reported educational qualifications, are required. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted for application purposes. The successful candidate must provide official transcripts at his or her expense within thirty (30) days of being notified of selection.
