HIIT Sports Leadership Teaching Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Group Fitness Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various fitness disciplines and a strong commitment to helping individuals with Parkinson's Disease (PD) achieve their health and wellness goals. Our specialized program slows the progression of PD through the use of our research based high intensity functional interval training. In-person classes are at various locations within 10 miles of Wilmington NC. Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available. Specialized training will be provided. Pay $25- 45/hour, depending upon experience.
Duties:
- Lead fitness classes in a dynamic and engaging manner
- Implement effective workout programs tailored to individual needs
- Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques and form
- Motivate and inspire clients to reach their fitness objectives
- Educate participants on the benefits of different exercise modalities
- Potential to teach online classes, in addition to in-person classes in the Hartford, CT area
- Ensure the safety of all participants during classes
- Online training available
Experience:
Required Skills:
- Experience in leading group fitness classes
- Experience in older population
- Nationally recognized fitness certification
- Ability to educate clients on the importance of fitness
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Background in fitness or sports coaching (will consider PTs and OTs)
- Proficiency in serving diverse populations
