Personal Trainer:

Personal Trainers are responsible for providing continued wellness support based on the YMCA Members' needs and goals by providing various personal training services that maximize their workout efficiency, improve fitness, increase stamina, enjoy their fitness experience and their improve their overall sense of well-being Conducts equipment orientations, monitors equipment for repair needs, and maintains a clean and safe environment for members Provides one on one personal training sessions as well as group settings At least 18 years old

Upon Hire:

Minimum of one nationally accredited personal training certification Benefits All employees receive a free YMCA membership! Part-time employees begin accruing Sick Leave immediately upon hire and Paid Time Off (PTO) after one year of employment 12% Retirement Plan - The YMCA will automatically contribute an additional 12% of the eligible employee's monthly income into their YMCA Retirement Plan when the following requirements are met: The employee has been employed with the YMCA for 2 years The employee has worked 1,000 hours during each of any two 12-month periods The employee is 21 years of age or older
