Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Group Fitness Instructor to lead dynamic fitness classes that motivate and inspire participants of all levels. In this role, you will design engaging workout sessions, foster a positive environment, and promote a healthy lifestyle within our vibrant health club community. Your expertise will help members achieve their fitness goals while enjoying a fun, safe, and inclusive atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your love for fitness and make a meaningful impact on our members' well-being. Duties Lead group fitness classes such as cardio HIIT, strength training, active recovery, Pilates, step aerobics with enthusiasm and professionalism Develop and modify class plans that incorporate principles of physiology, body mechanics, anatomy, and program design to ensure effective workouts for diverse participant needs Demonstrate proper exercise techniques to maximize safety and effectiveness while providing clear instructions and motivation throughout each session Monitor participant safety during classes, offering modifications or assistance as needed to prevent injuries and promote proper form Promote membership engagement by encouraging class participation, answering questions about fitness programs, and supporting members' individual goals Stay current with industry trends and certifications in group fitness, sports coaching, personal training, or specialized disciplines like yoga or dancing Maintain a clean, organized workout space and ensure all equipment is used safely and properly Requirements Proven experience in leading group fitness classes across various modalities Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise science principles to design effective programs Certification in group fitness instruction from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Proficiency in teaching diverse formats Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants of all ages and fitness levels Ability to demonstrate exercises safely while providing clear instructions and modifications when necessary Passion for health and wellness with a commitment to promoting a positive gym environment Join us as a Group Fitness Instructor and become a vital part of our community's journey toward healthier living!
