Job Description
Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) Instructor to lead dynamic, engaging, and effective group fitness classes focused on high-intensity workouts. In this role, you will inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals through expertly designed routines that combine strength, cardio, and functional movements. Your passion for fitness, combined with your motivational coaching skills, will help create a positive and empowering environment for all members. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' health and well-being while working within a vibrant fitness community. Duties Lead high-energy HIIT classes that incorporate exercises such as kickboxing, cycling, body mechanics, and functional movements to maximize calorie burn and improve overall fitness. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure correct form during routines to prevent injury and enhance effectiveness. Design innovative workout programs tailored to different fitness levels, integrating elements of biomechanics, physiology knowledge, and program design principles. Motivate participants through enthusiastic coaching, providing personalized feedback and encouragement to boost confidence and performance. Ensure safety protocols are followed by maintaining awareness of client health status, managing heavy lifting techniques safely, and operating AED (Automated External Defibrillator) equipment when necessary. Maintain excellent customer service by engaging with clients, answering questions about exercises or routines, and fostering a welcoming group environment. Stay current with industry trends such as CrossFit, Pilates, yoga, sports coaching, and other fitness disciplines to continually enhance class offerings. Qualifications Proven experience in group fitness instruction with a focus on HIIT or similar high-intensity workout formats. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED operation is required; additional certifications in First Aid are preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, body mechanics, and safe manual handling techniques. Skilled in demonstrating exercise routines across various disciplines including kickboxing, cycling, Pilates, yoga, dancing or sports coaching. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants effectively. Experience in personal training or fitness sales is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to adapt workouts for different fitness levels while maintaining high energy and engagement throughout classes.
