Adaptive Dance/Fitness Instructor

Overview We are seeking passionate and dedicated Dance/Fitness Instructors to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching dance and the ability to engage with the client and adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Body & Mind in Motion Dance Instructor, you will play a vital role in fostering a love for dance, promoting physical fitness, and enhancing the overall well-being of our students through engaging one on one or small group classes. Responsibilities Develop and implement dance lesson plans that cater to different skill levels with their preferred music styles. Ensure safety and effectiveness. Provide personalized instruction to students to help them improve their skills and confidence. Provide ad-free music using a platform of your choice. Create an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages creativity and self-expression among students. Monitor student progress and adjust programs as needed to meet individual goals/abilities. Provide on-going encouragement and positive feedback. Skills . Ability to adapt to individual's needs. Experience working with Developmentally Delayed individuals is preferred but not required. Experience in program design that promotes physical fitness through dance. Dance and or Fitness license may include but not limited to Zumba license or similar is required. Ability to educate students effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. Experience with Zumba, Turn Up, or other fitness disciplines is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all backgrounds.
