Job Description

The Pilates Reformer Instructor is responsible for leading safe, dynamic, and motivating Pilates Reformer classes that cater to a variety of fitness levels. You'll create an exceptional client experience through expert instruction, positive energy, and personalized attention — ensuring every class leaves clients feeling stronger, more confident, and excited to return. Key Responsibilities Lead group and/or private Pilates Reformer sessions in accordance with studio programming and client goals. Provide modifications, progressions, and form corrections to ensure safety and maximize results. Deliver an engaging, positive, and inclusive class experience that reflects the studio's brand and culture. Educate clients on proper movement, breath, and body alignment. Support client retention by building relationships and fostering community within the studio. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment before and after each class. Attend team meetings, trainings, and special studio events as needed. Promote studio offerings and help new clients feel confident and supported in their practice. Qualifications Certified Pilates Instructor with comprehensive or Reformer certification from a recognized program (e.g., Balanced Body, BASI, STOTT, Polestar, Peak, etc.). Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain). Minimum 6 months of teaching experience preferred, though we welcome passionate new instructors with strong training backgrounds. Strong understanding of anatomy, movement principles, and proper cueing techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and attitude. A genuine love of helping others move, feel, and live better.
Preferred Skills:
Background in personal training or kinesiology. Knowledge of injury prevention and post-rehabilitation fitness. Experience working in a fitness club, studio, or wellness center. Ability to tailor classes for special populations or modify for injuries.
Schedule:
Flexible hours, with availability for early morning, evening, and/or weekend classes preferred.
