As a PT, you will design tailored workout programs, offer nutritional guidance, and motivate clients through personalized training sessions. With a focus on safety and technique, you'll ensure that clients perform exercises correctly and effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll build lasting relationships with clients and foster a positive and encouraging training environment. Your passion for fitness and commitment to client success will contribute to our vibrant gym community. Responsibilities The tasks of the Personal Trainer include, but are not limited to:
  • Foster a strong and welcoming presence within the Iron Culture facility
  • Assess clients' fitness levels and establish achievable fitness goals
  • Develop personalized workout routines to enhance muscular endurance, flexibility, and overall health
  • Support clients in reaching their objectives through a customized training app, routine check-ins, and nutritional guidance
  • Regularly monitor and track clients' progress
  • Instruct clients on the proper use of fitness equipment as part of their workouts
  • Demonstrate and promote effective warm-up and stretching techniques to prevent injuries
  • Educate and motivate clients on advanced training methods as they progress toward their goals
  • Engage with all members and guests to identify potential personal training opportunities
  • Proficient in the POS system and sales process
  • Maintain an accurate schedule within the Iron Culture system
  • Attend scheduled development meetings
  • Fulfill all re-education and certification requirements
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and adhere to all health and safety regulations Required Skills

clearly explain exercises, actively listen to clients, and provide verbal guidance
    Customer Service:
    maintain positive client relationships by being friendly, encouraging, and polite
      Motivation:
      inspire and motivate clients to stay engaged in their training and classes
        Physical Fitness:
        capable of leading classes and demonstrating various exercises
          Physical Stamina:
          ability to stand, bend, pull, push, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs
            Problem-solving:
            evaluate clients' fitness levels and develop suitable training plans
              Commitment:
              prioritize clients' needs and establish realistic expectations
                Flexibility:
                adjust training programs as necessary to accommodate clients' evolving needs
                • Knowledge of fitness: possess a solid understanding of exercise science, anatomy, and physiology
                • Nutritional expertise: recognize how diet impacts body composition, performance, and recovery
                Reliability:
                arrive on time and consistently follow through on commitments
                • Organizational skills: ensure a seamless exercise experience for clients Experience & Prerequisites
                • Minimum of one year of personal training experience required, 3+ years preferred
                • High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
                • Personal Training Certification required
                CPR / AED
                Certification Required
                • Availability to work various shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays - Demonstrated success as a coach.
                Pay:
                $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
