Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and motivated Personal Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in strength training principles, a passion for helping others reach their goals, and the professionalism to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. In addition to training responsibilities, this role includes optional front desk hours for those looking to increase their hours and income.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement strength-based training programs for individuals and small groups Instruct proper lifting form, exercise technique, and gym safety practices Build relationships with clients and foster a results-driven environment Perform client consultations and assessments as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of training areas Work front desk shifts — greeting members, managing check-ins, assisting with gym operations
Requirements:
Certification from a nationally recognized organization (NASM, NSCA, ACE, etc.) Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred Minimum 1-2 years of personal training experience (internships count) Solid understanding of strength and resistance training principles CPR/AED certified Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
