Job Description

Part Time Trainer/Coach Breakthrough Performance - 5.0 Huntington Station, NY Job Details Part-time $27 - $32 an hour 6 days ago Benefits Gym membership Qualifications Customer relationship building Client rapport building Working with adult populations Training Adult education Full Job Description Hey, I'm Eric, owner of Breakthrough Performance. We're a small-group personal training gym built on real relationships, real results, and real coaching. We help busy adults (mostly 40+) who want to feel strong, drop body fat, and stay pain-free. We're looking for a morning coach to lead that experience. This Role is for You if: You genuinely enjoy connecting with people. You can explain training in a way that clicks for a mom of three or a 60-year-old getting back into the gym. You're reliable. People can count on you to show up, lead the room, and bring good energy. You're not afraid to be hands-on with coaching technique, giving feedback, holding people to the standard.
Who We're Not Looking For:
Someone who wants to wing it. Someone who thinks coaching is just yelling motivational quotes over loud music. Someone who wants to be on their phone more than on the floor.
What You'll Do:
Coach adult personal training clients in a small-group setting (2-8 people). Run morning sessions, roughly 6-11am. Track and manage progress, build trust, and communicate clearly with clients. Be part of a close-knit team that actually enjoys what they do.
What You'll Get:
Mentorship:
a proven system and ongoing support, not just thrown in.
Experience:
coaching a wide variety of adults, from post-surgery clients to busy professionals.
Education:
continuing education support and real in-house coaching development.
Growth:
as we grow, chances to take on more hours and responsibility.
Pay:
$27.00 - $32.00 per hour
Benefits:
Gym membership
Work Location:
In person
