Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor to motivate and inspire members on their fitness journeys. In this role, you will deliver engaging, safe, and effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs and group classes. Your passion for health and fitness will help members achieve their goals while fostering a positive, inclusive environment. Responsibilities Lead diverse group fitness classes such as yoga, Pilates, cycling, CrossFit, and dance-based workouts with enthusiasm and professionalism Provide personalized training sessions focusing on body mechanics, biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and functional movement patterns Design customized fitness programs that align with clients' goals, fitness levels, and health considerations Demonstrate proper exercise techniques through clear instruction and hands-on practice to ensure safety and effectiveness Motivate clients by tracking progress, offering encouragement, and adjusting routines as needed to maximize results Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fitness industry trends, certifications (such as CPR/AED), and best practices in manual handling and client communication Ensure a safe workout environment by adhering to health club protocols, conducting risk assessments, and managing heavy lifting or high-intensity activities safely Experience Proven experience in personal training or group fitness instruction within a health club or gym setting Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, biomechanics, and exercise science principles Certifications in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator), first aid, and relevant fitness disciplines such as yoga instruction or Pilates are required Demonstrated ability to teach exercise routines confidently across various formats including group classes like cycling, dance-based workouts, or functional training Experience with coaching clients of diverse ages and fitness levels while providing excellent customer service Familiarity with fitness sales techniques and client communication strategies to promote programs effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when necessary for equipment setup or assisting clients with resistance training Join us if you're passionate about inspiring others through motivating fitness coaching!
