Pay Rate:
$30.00 to 35.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Professionalism Greet every guest with warmth and professionalism, upholding Forbes and Mirbeau-approved language standards Handle guest questions, concerns and feedback with care and courtesy Promote spa and wellness offerings that complement the fitness experience Communicate effectively with spa and front desk teams to support seamless guest transitions and experiences during their stay Maintain a calm, welcoming, and inclusive environment that supports emotional, physical and mental restoration Embody Mirbeau's values of mindfulness, excellence, and professionalism in every interaction Class & Session Execution Lead engaging, safe and results-driven group classes and individual sessions, including yoga, strength training, mobility, stretching, breathwork, and guided meditation Create meaningful and creative class experiences that reflect both personality and Mirbeau's elevated wellness philosophy Deliver intentional sessions that support strength, balance, flexibility, breath, and overall well-belling Offer personalized instruction, adjustments, and modifications to meet each guest's individual needs, goals, and abilities Encourage mindful movement, body awareness, and proper form, alignment and technique Demonstrate a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and inspire guests to move with awareness and intention Provide thoughtful post-class guidance such as recovery tips, stretches, or spa service recommendations Studio & Equipment Care Arrive on time and start all classes and sessions promptly on time Prepare studio and equipment before each class, ensuring everything is clean, organized, and properly set up Maintain a clean and sanitary studio environment at all times, following Mirbeau policies and local health guidelines Ensure all props and equipment are safe, functional, and properly stored before and after use Uphold all spa safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in alignment with Forbes and Mirbeau guidelines Team Collaboration Work collaboratively across all departments to support daily operations and guest needs Maintain flexibility with scheduling and availability- including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs Attend and participate in scheduled meetings and trainings as required Continued Growth & Accountability Stay current on fitness, wellness, and mindfulness trends- incorporating new techniques when appropriate Maintain current certifications and participate in ongoing education Work independently, with minimal supervision while upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism Monitor guest safety throughout classes and respond accordingly to any incidents Protect guest confidentiality and personal information at all times, always with discretion and professionalism Consistently maintain a polished, professional appearance that aligns with Mirbeau's appearance and grooming standards
Qualifications & Certifications Current and valid certification in one or more fitness disciplines required Specialized certifications preferred in: Yoga (gentle, slow flow, Vinyasa) Strength Training Guided Meditation Pilates Breath-Focused Modalities Barre Chakra of Energy-Based Meditation (preferred) Reiki (a plus) CPR and First Aid Certification required (or willing to obtain before hire) Ongoing commitment to continuing education and professional development Experience 1-3 years of group fitness and/or private instruction required Prior experience in a gym, fitness, studio, spa, or wellness setting required Experience teaching a variety of modalities such as yoga, strength, mobility, and meditation Demonstrated ability to work with diverse guest abilities, including: Beginners Older adults Guests with injuries or physical limitations Experience in elevated spa, boutique studio, or high-touch hospitality environments (preferred) Background in holistic health, wellness, or hospitality is strongly preferred Comfortable working in settings where discretion, professionalism, and elevated service is expected Key Skills & Personal Attributes Strong ability to lead safe, effective, and thoughtful classes for all fitness levels Deep knowledge of anatomy, movement mechanics, and safe alignment principles Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills High emotional intelligence, with sensitivity to individual needs and privacy Ability to observe, adapt, and offer real-time modifications or adjustments Calm, professional demeanor with a warm, grounded presence Outgoing personality with a strong desire to deliver exceptional guest service Ability to inspire, motivate, and connect with both individuals and groups Comfortable creating a peaceful, intentional environment that promotes well-being Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Strong organizational and time management skills Eagerness to learn new techniques and evolve with wellness trends Familiarity with fitness software, scheduling platforms, or wellness apps preferred Ability to create authentic connection with new guests and make them feel comfortable and at ease
