Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging, dynamic exercise classes that inspire members to achieve their health and fitness goals. In this role, you will design and deliver a variety of group fitness sessions, including cardio, strength, flexibility, and specialty classes such as weight training, Pilates, Barre, TRX and high-intensity training. Your enthusiasm and expertise will motivate participants of all fitness levels to stay committed and enjoy their fitness journey. Responsibilities Lead group fitness classes with enthusiasm, ensuring proper technique and safety for all participants Develop and modify class routines to suit different skill levels and fitness goals Demonstrate exercises clearly, providing guidance on form, biomechanics, and body mechanics Monitor participants during classes to prevent injury through manual handling techniques and proper supervision Foster a motivating atmosphere that encourages participation and personal achievement Maintain equipment safety standards, ensuring all gear is used correctly and safely Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about class schedules, memberships, and personal fitness goals Skills Proven experience in leading group fitness classes across diverse formats such as yoga, Pilates, CrossFit, TRX, dance-based workouts, or sports coaching Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics to ensure safe exercise routines Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED operation for emergency preparedness Expertise in program design tailored to different fitness levels and client needs Ability to demonstrate exercises accurately while coaching proper technique and practice Excellent communication skills to motivate clients and foster a supportive environment Familiarity with fitness industry standards including manual handling, heavy lifting techniques, and health club operations Join us as a Group Fitness Instructor to energize our community through innovative classes that promote health, wellness, and fun! Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 5.0 per week
