Job Overview Join our dynamic fitness team as a Group Fitness Coach and inspire members to achieve their health and wellness goals through engaging, energetic, and expertly led group classes. In this role, you will design and deliver a variety of fitness programs, motivate participants, and foster a positive environment that encourages personal growth and community connection. Your expertise in diverse fitness disciplines will help members improve their strength, flexibility, endurance, and overall well-being while having fun! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your passion for fitness and make a meaningful impact on our vibrant community. Responsibilities Lead diverse group fitness classes including cardio, strength, yoga, Pilates, CrossFit, dance-based workouts, and specialized training sessions. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure participants perform routines safely using correct body mechanics. Design tailored workout programs that cater to different fitness levels and individual needs while maintaining high energy and motivation. Provide clear instructions, modifications, and demonstrations to ensure all participants can follow along comfortably. Monitor class participants' form and technique; offer guidance on biomechanics and anatomy to prevent injuries. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health protocols such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, manual handling procedures, and first aid procedures. Foster a welcoming atmosphere by delivering excellent customer service, encouraging participation, and building strong client relationships through effective communication. Experience Proven experience in leading group fitness classes across multiple disciplines such as yoga, Pilates, cycling, dance, or sports coaching. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, body mechanics, and physical fitness training principles. Certifications in fitness instruction including CPR/AED certification; additional qualifications in Kickboxing, CrossFit, or sports coaching are highly desirable. Prior experience working in health clubs or fitness facilities with a focus on client engagement and motivation. Demonstrated ability to teach exercise routines safely while adapting to different skill levels and physical capabilities. Familiarity with gym equipment operation including heavy lifting techniques and manual handling safety measures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate individuals and foster a positive group environment.
