In this role, you will design engaging workout sessions, demonstrate proper techniques, and foster a positive environment that encourages members to achieve their health and fitness goals. Your expertise in various fitness disciplines will help create a vibrant community dedicated to active living and well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your enthusiasm for fitness while making a meaningful impact on members' lives. Duties Lead group fitness classes such as HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, CrossFit, and dance-based workouts with enthusiasm and clear instruction Demonstrate exercises and techniques accurately, ensuring proper body mechanics and biomechanics to prevent injury Design diverse class programs tailored to different skill levels, incorporating principles of physiology and anatomy knowledge Motivate participants through coaching, positive reinforcement, and engaging communication to maximize effort and enjoyment Ensure safety by monitoring group activity, practicing manual handling techniques, and responding promptly with CPR or AED operation if needed Maintain a clean, organized workout space and ensure all equipment is used correctly and safely Promote health club services such as personal training and fitness sales to encourage member engagement Requirements Proven experience teaching group fitness classes in disciplines such as Yoga, Pilates, Spin/Cycling, CrossFit, or sports coaching Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation is mandatory Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, biomechanics, and exercise science principles Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly while providing practice-based coaching for participants' improvement Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of individuals Familiarity with gym equipment usage, heavy lifting techniques, manual handling safety practices, and group fitness program design Previous experience working in health clubs or fitness environments is preferred Join us as a Group Class Instructor and be part of a lively team dedicated to transforming lives through movement!
