Mountain Park's fitness team is expanding, and we are seeking an enthusiastic Water Exercise Instructor to lead safe, engaging, and energizing aquatic fitness classes for our members. We are looking for instructors who can motivate participants of all fitness levels, from beginners gaining confidence in the water to experienced participants seeking a low-impact but effective workout. Ideal candidates are passionate about water fitness, movement, cardiovascular wellness, flexibility, balance, and creating an inclusive environment where every participant feels supported and successful. If you enjoy helping others stay active while making fitness fun and accessible, you'll be a great fit for our team.
What You'll Do:
Design and lead engaging group water exercise classes with clear progressions, proper form, and effective technique instruction. Instruct participants on the safe use of weights, resistance bands, bodyweight movements, and other strength-training equipment. Provide modifications and progressions to accommodate all fitness and mobility levels while maintaining a strong, motivating leadership presence. Ensure participant safety at all times through injury prevention, proper mechanics, and adherence to pool safety standards. Create a positive, community-oriented atmosphere that encourages member participation, motivation, and retention. Maintain organized, structured classes by arriving prepared with class plans, music, and all necessary equipment. Set up, organize, and store class equipment before and after each session. Communicate professionally and effectively with staff and participants to support a welcoming class environment. Why Join Mountain Park HOA? What We're Looking For:
1+ years of group aquatic fitness instruction experience preferred Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Physically able to demonstrate and lead water-based exercise routines Experience working with seniors or rehabilitation-focused fitness participants is a plus Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States
