Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Personal Trainer and Body Work Specialist, where your passion for fitness and dedication to client well-being will inspire transformation. In this energetic role, you will design personalized workout plans, deliver motivating coaching sessions, and utilize your expertise in biomechanics, physiology, and body mechanics to help clients achieve their health goals. Duties Develop customized workout programs tailored to each client's goals, fitness level, and physical condition, incorporating principles of biomechanics, anatomy, and physiology Lead engaging personal training sessions, group fitness classes, and body work techniques such as manual handling and body mechanics adjustments Motivate clients through coaching that emphasizes proper technique, safety, and sustained effort to maximize results Conduct assessments including fitness testing, movement analysis, and health screenings to inform program design Educate clients on nutrition, injury prevention (including first aid and CPR procedures), and healthy lifestyle habits to support holistic wellness Maintain accurate records of client progress, session details, and safety protocols while ensuring compliance with liability insurance requirements Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, rapport building, and exceptional customer service to encourage ongoing engagement Skills Proven experience in sports coaching, personal training, or physical education instruction with a strong understanding of fitness industry standards Deep knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics essential for safe program design and body work techniques Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation; first aid certification preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while demonstrating proper manual handling techniques Skilled in creating personalized workout plans that align with client needs and fitness goals using program design expertise Excellent communication skills for coaching clients effectively and building lasting rapport Experience in fitness sales or customer service within a health club or gym environment is highly desirable Strong understanding of group fitness instruction and experience teaching physical education classes is a plus Knowledge of nutrition principles to provide basic guidance on healthy eating habits Familiarity with liability insurance requirements relevant to personal training roles Embark on a rewarding journey helping others unlock their full potential!
