Oxford Athletic Club is seeking an energetic and motivated Barre Instructor to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, confident leading group fitness classes, and committed to creating a fun, supportive, and safe environment for members of all fitness levels.
Pay:
$30.00 per class Reports to:
Mind & Body Coordinator Status:
Hourly, Non-Exempt Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead high-energy barre classes for groups in a safe and motivating environment.
  • Prepare and learn choreography while maintaining class quality and consistency.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with members.
  • Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and equipment safety standards.
  • Promote club programs, events, memberships, and retail offerings.
  • Assist with member check-in and studio operations as needed.
  • Attend staff meetings, training courses and special events.
  • Follow all Oxford Athletic Club policies and safety procedures.
Education & Certifications:
  • Barre certification or group fitness certification preferred.
  • CPR/AED Certification required or willingness to obtain.
  • Background in dance, fitness, cheerleading, or barre is a plus.
Work Experience :
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience is preferred.
Experience working with clients of varying fitness levels.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to confidently lead and motivate groups of 20+ participants.
  • Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.
  • Ability to demonstrate proper form and maintain a high-energy class atmosphere.
Job Type Full-time or Part-time Eligible for full-time benefits after maintaining a minimum of 30 hours per week.
