In this energized role, you will deliver personalized workout guidance, motivational coaching, and expert advice to clients through virtual platforms. Your expertise will empower individuals to achieve their fitness goals from the comfort of their homes, creating an engaging and supportive online environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence lives positively while leveraging your extensive fitness industry experience and coaching skills. Responsibilities An initial commitment of 4-10 hours per week (within the early-morning, mid-morning and evening timeframes of EST) with the opportunity to increase and maintain full-time status Lead virtual group fitness classes in accordance with The U's PrescriptFit® approach, focusing on strength, cardio and recovery. These classes are conducted live and require the professional to participate in the workout in full while simultaneously coaching Offer voice coaching as part of The U's proprietary eyes-on-you experience, providing feedback and motivation to live class participants in real time Virtually train clients in a one-on-one format with the ability to work with a range of age groups, including people with limitations and/or medical conditions, and with minimal equipment On occasion, filming On-Demand content in the form of 15-, 30- and 45-minute workouts Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, active listening, and ongoing support to boost motivation and adherence Requirements A minimum of 2 years working as a private trainer or group fitness instructor. Flexible location; For local candidates, virtual classes can be taught on-site at The U's flagship location in Stamford, CT; otherwise, virtual classes can be taught at candidate's location of choice, if approved. Must hold a current fitness certification from either ACSM, ACE, ISSA, NASM, NCSA, AFFA, NFPT or have a completed degree in an exercise science related field. Must be able to display high energy, personality and relatability when leading virtual offerings. Collaboration with the Training Director to ensure performance standards and participation goals are being met. Successful completion of class audition process The willingness to learn, grow and integrate within a dynamic and established team. Initial 3-month probationary period
Preferred Requirements:
Experience conducting live virtual workouts and/or recording polished workout content.

Compensation:
Between $30 to $65 per hour depending on credentials and services offered

Pay:
