Job Description:
We are actively seeking an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist to serve as an in-school trainer. Qualified candidates must enjoy a learning environment, know muscles and anatomy, and have a passion for sharing their industry knowledge with adult learners. The Instructor is entrusted with imparting their knowledge and skills of massage and body work and providing quality delivery of assigned courses while ensuring that all students achieve competency in the course objectives. Instructors are to be punctual, dedicated, motivating, creative, and professional.Responsibilities and Duties:
- Commitment to the objectives & students of CSM.
- Ability to effectively engage with and facilitate learning for students of diverse backgrounds, cultures, ages, and experiences.
- Supervise and instruct students through clinicials
- Instruct massage therapy students using a specific, outlined curriculum by the school.
- Contribute a positive attitude and teamwork in a proven system to ensure an enjoyable and relaxing environment for all students, clients, and co-workers.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must possess and maintain a current massage therapy license and have three years of documented experience in the field.
- Must know Human Anatomy, Kinesiology & Muscles.
- Must possess the ability to TEACH core concepts, including: body mechanics, massage techniques, multiple modalities, draping, client positioning, etc
- Must be self-aware and capable of adjusting your teaching style to accommodate a diverse group of adult learners.
Schedule:
- Thursday 9 am-2 pm
- Friday 9 am-2 pm text 864-234-7191
