Position:
The George Mason University Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center invites applications for the Fitness Floor Attendant position.
Shifts Available:
Tuesday, 1-5 pm Wednesday, 1-5 pm Saturday, 8 am-12 pm Sunday, 1-6 pm
Responsibilities:
Supervise the fitness floor (i.e., cardio room, weight room, and track); Assist members and guests with their needs; and Maintain a clean work environment.
Required Qualifications:
Understanding of exercise and the use of exercise equipment; Must have current (or must be able to obtain) CPR/First Aid/AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certifications; Must be able to safely and independently move up to 50 pounds, and perform light maintenance; and Must be energetic, dependable, and flexible.
Preferred Qualifications:
Personal training certification from a nationally accredited organization is a plus! Instructions to
