Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Personal Trainer to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing personalized training sessions, developing tailored fitness programs, and motivating clients to achieve their health and wellness goals. This role requires a strong understanding of body mechanics, anatomy, and effective teaching methods to ensure safe and effective workouts. Duties Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions with clients to assess their fitness levels and establish goals. Design customized workout programs that align with clients' individual needs and objectives. Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques and body mechanics to maximize effectiveness and minimize injury risk. Lead 2 group fitness classes on Thursday mornings; similar to a Total Body Conditoning and an Active Older Adult Conditioning, fostering a supportive and engaging environment for participants. Maintain accurate records of client progress and adjust programs as necessary to ensure continued improvement. Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, techniques, and research to provide the best service possible. Experience Proven experience in personal training or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, and program design principles. Previous experience in sales or fitness sales is a plus. Background in teaching physical education or sports coaching is advantageous. Certification from a recognized personal training organization is required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients of all fitness levels.
