Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Pilates Instructor to lead engaging Pilates classes that inspire and energize our members. We are specifically looking for a certified Pilates professional who is passionate about helping participants improve strength, flexibility, balance, and overall wellness. Candidates who are also qualified and interested in teaching additional group fitness formats are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Lead Pilates classes with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a focus on proper form and technique. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, ensuring participants perform movements safely and effectively through clear demonstration and practice. Design innovative class programs that cater to different fitness levels and goals, incorporating biomechanics, physiology knowledge, and body mechanics principles. Teach additional group fitness formats, if qualified, to support a diverse class schedule. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times; operate AED (Automated External Defibrillator) devices and perform CPR or first aid when necessary. Maintain a positive environment by delivering excellent fitness customer service and fostering a sense of community among class attendees. Stay updated on industry trends, certifications, and best practices to continually improve class quality. Experience Proven experience teaching Pilates classes; additional experience teaching other group fitness formats is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics relevant to exercise instruction. Certification in Pilates instruction is required; CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required. Additional group fitness certifications are highly desirable. Prior experience working in health clubs or fitness centers is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants while maintaining professionalism. Experience with program design tailored to different fitness levels and client needs enhances your effectiveness as an instructor.
