Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Certified Yoga Instructor to lead engaging yoga classes that inspire, challenge, and motivate participants of all levels. In this dynamic role, you will design and deliver high-quality yoga routines, foster a welcoming environment, and promote overall wellness through mindful movement and breathing techniques. Your expertise will help clients improve flexibility, strength, and mental clarity while supporting their fitness journeys. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your love for yoga and health with a vibrant community. Responsibilities Lead group yoga classes that cater to various skill levels, ensuring safe and effective practice for all participants Demonstrate proper techniques, alignment, and breathing exercises to maximize benefits and prevent injuries Develop customized yoga programs that align with clients' fitness goals and physical abilities Motivate participants through positive coaching, encouraging progress and confidence in their practice Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting studio environment by adhering to health and safety standards Educate clients on body mechanics, biomechanics, physiology, and anatomy relevant to yoga practice Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, offering modifications, and fostering a supportive atmosphere Requirements Certified Yoga Instructor with valid credentials from a recognized certification body Demonstrated experience teaching group fitness classes, particularly yoga or similar disciplines such as Pilates or dance Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics as they relate to movement and exercise routines Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly and effectively while guiding practice sessions Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of clients Basic first aid (CPR/AED) certification preferred; additional certifications in fitness industry disciplines such as Pilates instruction or sports coaching are a plus Physical fitness training experience including heavy lifting or manual handling is advantageous for demonstrating poses safely Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals in a supportive environment Join us as a Certified Yoga Instructor and make a positive impact on our community's health journey! Pay:
$10.00 - $125.00 per hour
