The Kenosha YMCA is seeking an energetic Fitness Instructor to provide high-quality group classes for our members and guests. This position is responsible for leading group fitness classes that will not only motivate members and guests, but enhance the overall fitness, strength, and endurance of the participants in a welcoming environment. The Fitness Instructor will also be asked to coordinate routines with appropriate music, take attendance, and be a resource of information to educate members and guests on how to improve their overall quality of life. Candidates will also contribute to the overall class schedule with new ideas. The instructor must hold a Group Exercise Certification, National Certification preferred, and a CPR/AED certification. Current up to date nationally recognized fitness credentials Must be 18 years or older and a high school graduate or equivalent 6 months to 1 year of related experience Skill and knowledge of aerobic techniques and mechanics Training and teaching experience in aerobic and physical fitness Excellent member relation and customer service skills Professional image Excellent communication skills Flexibility in work schedule Maintain a valid drivers license Background check can not contain offenses restricted by state lawEmployee Benefits Include:
