As a Part-Time Aquatic Fitness Instructor at The MAC, you'll guide classes through safe, effective, and engaging aquatic workouts. Position Responsibilities:
Plan and lead engaging aquatic fitness classes, including water aerobics and other swim-based fitness programs. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide modifications to help participants of all fitness levels exercise safely and effectively. Create a positive class environment, offering encouragement and feedback to support participants in achieving their fitness goals. Ensure a safe swim environment, responding to emergencies and administering first aid or CPR when needed. Track class attendance.Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience teaching group fitness or aquatic fitness classes preferred. Aquatic Fitness Instructor certification, such as AEA, YMCA or equivalent.
